    Press and hold the Power/Lock Key to turn the phone on

    Tap the language

    Tap the language you wish to use

    Tap Start

    If you would like to connect to Wi-Fi, tap the network you wish to join

    If required, enter the network’s password and then tap Connect

    If you would like to copy data from another device, tap Copy your data. Otherwise, tap Set up as new

    To sign in to your Google account, tap Email or Phone

    If you don’t have a Google account tap Create Account and follow the instructions to set one up

  • 9.

    Enter the email address or phone number associated with your Google account and then tap Next

  • 10.

    Enter your password and then tap Next

  • 11.

    Tap I Agree

  • 12.

    Tap Set Up Fingerprint

  • 13.

    Enter a PIN and then tap Continue. This will be used on occasions when your fingerprint can’t be read or security features require a PIN

  • 14.

    Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK

  • 15.

    Place a finger on the fingerprint sensor

  • 16.

    Tap Start

  • 17.

    Place a finger on the fingerprint sensor

  • 18.

    Lift and replace your finger until your fingerprint has been successfully read

  • 19.

    If you would like to add more fingerprints, tap Add Another. Otherwise tap Next

  • 20.

    To set up Google Assistant, tap Next

  • 21.

    Tap Get Started

  • 22.

    Follow the instructions to set up Google Assistant

  • 23.

    Select whether you would like to be able to unlock your phone with your voice and then tap Done

  • 24.

    Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor

  • 25.

    Scroll down and tap I Agree

  • 26.

    If you would like to set up additional services, tap on one of them. Otherwise tap No Thanks

  • 27.

    Tap Accept and Continue

  • 28.

    Scroll down and tap Next

  • 29.

    If you would like to receive support and news from Motorola via email, tap Yes, I’m In. Otherwise tap No, thanks
