  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap More
  • 4. Tap Tethering & Portable Hotspot
  • 5. Tap the status switch beside Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
    Activating a portable hotspot will turn Wi-Fi off
  • 6. Tap Set Up Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 7. Enter a name for the hotspot. This is the name that other devices will see when searching for networks
  • 8. Scroll down and tap Password
  • 9. Enter a password and then tap Save. This is the password that must be entered on other devices wishing to connect to the hotspot
  • 10. To deactivate a hotspot, swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 11. Tap the Hotspot icon
