  • 1. When the phone is locked, you can open certain types of notifications directly from the lock screen. When a new notification arrives, tap and hold on the notification's icon
  • 2. Drag the icon upwards to open the application the notification pertains to
  • 3. If you have an unlock code set up, unlock your phone
  • 4. The application will open
  • 5. If you don't want to open the app but would rather just unlock the phone, drag the lock icon downwards
  • 6. Unlock your phone
