  • Fingerprint Unlock allows you to unlock your phone and verify your identity using your fingerprint. You are required to use additional unlock method in the event that your fingerprint can’t be read or additional verification is required

    Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers

  • 2.

    Tap the Settings icon

  • 3.

    Scroll down and tap Security

  • 4.

    Tap Fingerprint

  • 5. Tap your desired unlock method. In this example, we will select Fingerprint + PIN
  • 6.

    Enter a PIN and then tap Next. The PIN must be at least 4 digits long

  • 7.

    Re-enter your PIN and then tap Confirm

  • 8.

    Select your lock screen notification preference and then tap Done

  • 9.

    Tap Set Up

  • 10.

    Place a finger on the fingerprint sensor

  • 11.

    Continue to lift and replace your finger until your fingerprint has been read

  • 12.

    If you would like to add another fingerprint, tap Add Another. Otherwise, tap Done

  • 13.

    Tap Finger 1

  • 14.

    Enter a name for the finger and then tap OK

  • 15.

    To unlock the phone, place your finger on the Fingerprint Sensor
