  • 1. From the home screen, tap Google
  • 2. Tap Maps
  • 3. Tap Accept and Continue
  • 4. Tap Yes, I'm In
  • 5. Your current location will be indicated by a blue dot
  • 6. To search for a location, tap the search bar
  • 7. Enter the address or location and then tap the Search icon
  • 8. The location will be indicated with a red marker
  • 9. To view details about the location, drag the location name upwards
  • 10. To get directions to the location, tap Route
  • 11. Tap Your Location
  • 12. Tap whether you would like driving, transit, cycling or walking directions
  • 13. Tap the route you would like to use
  • 14. The route will be shown on the map
  • 15. To get GPS navigation instructions, tap the Navigation icon
  • 16. Tap Accept
  • 17. Your current location and the direction you are facing will be indicated with a blue arrow
  • 18. Tap the X to exit GPS navigation
