  • 1. From the home screen, tap Settings
  • 2. Tap Networks
  • 3. Tap Tethering
  • 4. Tap the status switch beside Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 5. Enter a password for the hotspot and then tap Save. This is the password that must be entered on other devices in order to connect to your hotspot
  • 6. To turn a mobile hotspot off, swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 7. Tap the Wi-Fi Hotspot notification
  • 8. Tap the status switch
