    If you already have an unlock method set up, you can skip to step 10

    Tap General

    Tap Lock Screen & Security

    Tap Select Screen Lock

    Select a screen unlock method. In this example, we will select PIN

    Select whether a PIN is required to turn on your phone and then tap Next

    Enter a PIN and then tap Next

  • 8.

    Confirm the PIN and then tap OK

    Select your lock screen notification settings and then tap OK

    Tap Secure Lock Settings

  • 11.

    Tap Smart Lock

  • 12.

    Enter your PIN and then tap OK

    Tap Got It

  • 14.

    Tap Trusted Devices

  • 15.

    Tap Add Trusted Device

  • 16.

    Tap the device you wish to use

    Your phone must be connected to the device

    Tap Yes, Add

  • 18.

    The phone will remain unlocked as long as it remains connected to the device

  • 19.

    If you would like to manually lock the phone, press the Power/Lock Key

  • 20.

    Press the Power/Lock Key again

  • 21.

    Tap the Lock icon

  • 22.

    To unlock the phone, press the Power/Lock Key

    Swipe the screen in any direction

    Enter your PIN and then tap the check mark
