    Press and hold the Power/Lock Key to turn the phone on

    Tap the language

    Tap your desired language

    Tap the arrow

    If you would like to connect to a Wi-Fi network, tap the status switch beside Wi-Fi

    Tap the network you would like to connect to

    If required, enter the network’s password and then tap Connect

    Tap Next

    If you would like to copy data from another device, tap Copy your data. Otherwise, tap Set up as new

    Tap Email or Phone

  • 11.

    Enter the email address or phone number associated with your Google account and then tap Next

    If you do not have a Google account, tap Or create a new account to set one up

    Enter your password and then tap Next

  • 13.

    Tap I Agree

  • 14.

    If you would like to add a fingerprint, make sure Set up fingerprint is selected and then tap Next

  • 15.

    Select the type of screen lock you wish to use. This is used in circumstances where your fingerprint can’t be read. In this example, we will select PIN

  • 16.

    Select whether or not the PIN is required to turn the phone on and then tap Next

  • 17.

    Enter a PIN and then tap Next

  • 18.

    Confirm the PIN and then tap OK

  • 19.

    Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor

  • 20.

    Lift your finger and place it back down on the sensor. Keep doing this until your fingerprint has been successfully read

  • 21.

    If you would like to add another fingerprint, tap Add More. Otherwise, tap OK

  • 22.

    If you would like to turn on Google Assistant, tap Next

  • 23.

    Scroll down and tap Agree

  • 24.

    Tap the check box beside I agree to all LG Legal documents

  • 25.

    Scroll down and tap Done
