  • You can unlock your phone by saying OK Google. This is a less secure method of protecting your phone and should be used in conjunction with more secure methods. If you do not already have a PIN, pattern or password set up, you will need to do so

    From the home screen, tap Settings

    Tap General

    Tap Lock Screen & Security

  • 4.

    Tap Secure Lock Settings

    If you do not have an unlock method set up already, tap Select Lock Screen to set one up

  • 5.

    Tap Smart Lock

  • 6.

    Enter your PIN, pattern or password and then tap OK

  • 7.

    Tap Understood

  • 8.

    Tap Voice Match

  • 9.

    Tap the status switch beside Access with Voice Match

  • 10. Tap Next
  • 11. Tap I Agree
  • 12. Follow the instructions to set up your voice
  • 13. Tap Next
  • 14. Tap Finish
  • 15.

    To unlock your phone and launch Google Assistant, say OK Google
