  • The Setup Assistant will guide you through the setup process for your phone

  • 1.

    Press and hold the Power/Lock Key to turn the phone on

  • 2.

    Tap the language

  • 3.

    Tap the language you wish to use

  • 4.

    Tap the arrow

  • 5.

    Choose how you would like the second screen to appear and then tap Next

  • 6.

    To connect to a Wi-Fi network, tap the status switch beside Wi-Fi

  • 7.

    Tap the network you wish to join

  • 8.

    If required, enter the network’s password and then tap Connect

  • 9.

    Tap Next

  • 10.

    If you would like to transfer data from a previous backup, tap Next. Otherwise tap Don’t Copy

  • 11.

    To add your Google account, tap Email or Phone

    If you do not have a Google account, you can tap Skip, or tap Create Account to set one up

  • 12.

    Enter the e-mail address or phone number associated with your Google account and then tap Next

  • 13.

    Enter your password and then tap Next

  • 14.

    Tap I Agree

  • 15.

    Scroll down and tap Accept

  • 16.

    To add fingerprint unlock, make sure Set Up Fingerprint is selected and then tap Next

  • 17.

    Tap Next

  • 18.

    Select a screen unlock method. This will be used in instances when your fingerprint cannot be read or additional verification is required. In this example, we will select PIN

  • 19.

    Select whether you would like the PIN to be required to turn on the phone and then tap Next

  • 20.

    Enter a PIN and then tap Next. The PIN must be at least 4 digits

  • 21.

    Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK

  • 22.

    Place your finger on the Fingerprint Sensor

  • 23.

    Lift and replace your finger until your fingerprint has been fully read

  • 24.

    If you would like to save additional fingerprints, tap Add More. Otherwise, tap OK

  • 25.

    Tap Next

  • 26.

    Tap Next

  • 27.

    Tap I Agree

  • 28.

    Tap Continue

  • 29.

    Tap I agree to all LG Legal documents

  • 30.

    Scroll down and tap Done
