  • 1. From the home screen, tap Apps
  • 2. Swipe the screen left
  • 3. Tap Maps
  • 4. Your location will be indicated with a blue dot
  • 5. To search for a location, tap the Search icon
  • 6. Enter the address or location you wish to search for and then tap the Search icon
  • 7. The location will be indicated with a red marker
  • 8. To search for businesses and attractions near you, tap the Marker icon
  • 9. Tap the location field
  • 10. Tap My Current Location
  • 11. Tap the category you wish to search for. In this example, we will select Restaurants
  • 12. A list of nearby restaurants will be displayed. To view them on a map, tap Map View
  • 13. Nearby restaurants will be indicated with a red marker. To view details of a location, tap on the marker
  • 14. To get directions to a location, tap the Directions icon
  • 15. Enter your destination and then tap Get Directions
  • 16. Your route will be indicated with a blue line
  • 17. To view a step-by-step list of directions, tap Directions List
  • 18. To view GPS directions, tap the GPS icon
  • 19. Tap Accept
  • 20. The GPS directions will launch. Your current location and the direction you are facing will be indicated by a blue arrow
  • 21. To exit GPS navigation, tap the Menu key
  • 22. Tap Exit Navigation
