  • 1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key
  • 2. Tap Settings
  • 3. Tap Display
  • 4. Tap Brightness
  • 5. By default, your phone will automatically set the brightness based on the ambient light. To disable this, tap the check box beside Automatic Brightness
  • 6. Drag the slider to the left or right to adjust the brightness
  • 7. Once you have set the brightness, tap OK
