  • 1. From the home screen, say OK Google or tap the Microphone icon in the Google Search Bar
  • 2. To make a call, say Call followed by the name or number you wish to call
  • 3. Tap Call or wait for the progress bar to finish
  • 4. The number will be dialed
  • 5. To send a text message to a contact, say Message followed by the name or number you wish to send the message to and then say the text of the message
  • 6. Tap Send
  • 7. To perform a web search, say the term you wish to search for, e.g. Montreal Weather
  • 8. The search results will be displayed
  • 9. To get directions, say Directions To followed by the location or address
  • 10. Tap Get Directions or wait for the progress bar to finish
  • 11. Google Maps will launch
  • 12. To get GPS navigation directions, say Navigate To followed by the address or location
  • 13. Tap Navigate or wait for the progress bar to finish
  • 14. GPS Navigation will launch
