Click each step to see the action, click the picture or use the arrow keys

  • 1. From the home screen, tap the Hangouts icon
  • 2. Tap the + icon
  • 3. Scroll to and tap the contact you wish to send the message to
    Note: If a contact already uses Google Hangouts, the message will be sent as a Hangout message. If they are not already using Hangouts, it will be sent as an SMS
  • 4. To add a phone number that isn't in your contacts list, tap Anyone Else?
  • 5. Tap ?123
  • 6. Enter the number and then tap on it
  • 7. Tap OK
  • 8. Tap the Camera icon
  • 9. Tap Take Video
  • 10. Tap the red circle to start recording
  • 11. Tap the Stop icon to stop recording
  • 12. Tap the check mark
  • 13. Tap Send an MMS Message
  • 14. Enter the text of your message and then tap the Send icon
