    From the home screen, tap the Messaging icon

    Tap the + icon

  • 3.

    Enter the first few letters of the contact’s name and then tap their name in the displayed list

    To send the message to a contact that isn’t in your address book, tap J1#

  • 5.

    Use the keyboard to enter the number

  • 6.

    Tap Enter Message

  • 7.

    Enter the text of the message and then tap the Attach icon

  • 8.

    Tap the type of media you would like to include. In this example, we will select Record Video

  • 9.

    Tap the Record icon

  • 10.

    Tap the Stop icon to finish recording

  • 11.

    Tap OK

  • 12.

    Tap Send
