Using Trusted Devices to Unlock Your Phone

- 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen
- 2. Tap the Settings icon
- 3. Tap Display
- 4. Tap Lock ScreenIf you already have a PIN set up, you can skip to step 11
- 5. Tap Select Screen Lock
- 6. Tap your desired unlock method. In this example, we will select PIN
- 7. Enter a PIN and then tap Next
- 8. Confirm your PIN and then tap OK
- 9. Select what types of notifications you would like to be displaced. We will select Hide Sensitive Only
- 10. Tap OK
- 11. Tap Smart Lock
- 12. Enter your PIN and then tap Next
- 13. Tap Trusted Devices
- 14. Tap Add Trusted Device
- 15. Select whether you would like to use a Bluetooth or NFC device. In this example we will select BluetoothBluetooth must be turned on and your phone must be connected to the device you wish to use
- 16. Tap the Bluetooth device you wish to use
- 17. Your phone will remain unlocked as long as it is connected to the Bluetooth device
- 18. To manually lock the phone, press the Power/Lock Key
- 19. Tap the Lock icon to lock the phone
- 20. Once you have locked the phone, to unlock it again, press the Power/Lock Key
- 21. Enter your PIN and then tap the OK
