    From the home screen, tap the Google folder

    Tap Hangouts

  • 3.

    Tap Next

  • 4.

    Tap the + icon

  • 5.

    Tap New Video Call

  • 6.

    Tap the contact you would like to call

  • 7.

    Tap the Camera icon

  • 8.

    When the call is answered, you video will be displayed in the bottom right hand corner

  • 9.

    To view the video controls, tap the screen

  • 10.

    Tap the Mute icon to mute the call

  • 11.

    Tap the Rotate Camera icon to switch to the rear-facing camera

  • 12.

    To send a message, tap the arrow beside the contact’s name

  • 13.

    Tap Write a Message

  • 14.

    Enter the text of your message and then tap the Send icon

  • 15.

    Tap Ongoing Call to return to the video call

  • 16.

    Tap the End Call icon to finish the call
