  • You can unlock your phone by saying OK Google. This is a less secure method of protecting your phone and should be used in conjunction with more secure methods

    From the home screen, tap Settings

    Tap General

    Tap Lock Screen & Security

    Tap Select Lock Screen

  • 5.

    Tap the screen lock method you wish to use. In this example, we will select PIN

  • 6.

    Select whether the PIN is required to turn the phone on and then tap Next

  • 7.

    Enter a PIN and then tap Next. The PIN must be at least 4 digits

  • 8.

    Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK

  • 9.

    Select your lock screen notification preferences and then tap OK

  • 10.

    Tap Secure Lock Settings

  • 11.

    Tap Smart Lock

  • 12.

    Enter your PIN, pattern or password and then tap OK

    Tap Got It

  • 14.

    Tap Voice Match

  • 15.

    Tap the status switch beside Access with Voice Match

  • 16.

    Tap I Agree

  • 17.

    Tap Continue

    To unlock your phone, say OK Google
