  • A Wi-Fi hotspot allows other devices to connect to the internet using your phone’s mobile data or Wi-Fi network. This may increase your mobile data usage. Turning a mobile hotspot on will turn Wi-Fi off

    Swipe down from the top of the screen

    Tap the Settings icon

  • 3.

    Tap Network & Internet

  • 4.

    Tap Hotspot & Tethering

  • 5.

    Tap the status switch beside Wi-Fi Hotspot

  • 6.

    Tap Set up Wi-Fi Hotspot

  • 7.

    Enter a name for the network and then tap Password. This is the name other devices will see when searching for your hotspot

  • 8.

    Enter a password and then tap Save. This is the password that must be entered on devices wishing to connect to the hotspot

  • 9.

    To turn a mobile hotspot off, swipe down from top of the screen with two fingers

  • 10.

    Swipe the screen to the left

    Tap Hotspot
