  • Once you have added a trusted Bluetooth device, you can choose for your phone to remain unlocked while it is connected to that device.

    Swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger

    Tap the Settings icon

    Tap Security & Location

  • 4.

    Tap Screen Lock

    If you have already set up a secure unlock method, you can skip to step 9

  • 5.

    Tap your desired unlock method. We will select PIN

  • 6.

    Enter a PIN and then tap Next

  • 7.

    Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK

  • 8.

    Select your lock screen notification preferences and then tap Done

    Tap Smart Lock

  • 10.

    Enter your PIN and then tap the Arrow

  • 11.

    Tap Trusted Devices

  • 12.

    Tap Add Trusted Device

  • 13.

    Tap the device you wish to use

    Bluetooth must be turned on and connected to the device you wish to use

  • 14.

    Tap Yes, Add

  • 15.

    Your phone will remain unlocked for as long as it is connected to the device.

    To manually lock the phone, press the Power/Lock Key

  • 17.

    Press the Power/Lock Key again

  • 18.

    Tap the Lock icon

  • 19.

    To unlock the phone, press the Power/Lock Key

    Swipe the screen upwards

  • 21.

    Enter your PIN and then tap OK
