  • Voice Match enables you to unlock your phone and launch Google Assistant using your voice. This is a less secure unlock method and must be paired with a more secure way to unlock your phone

    Swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger

  • 2.

    Tap the Settings icon

  • 3.

    Tap Security & Location

  • 4.

    Tap Screen Lock

    If you have already set up a secure unlock method, you can skip to step 9

  • 5.

    Tap your desired unlock method. We will select PIN

  • 6.

    Enter a PIN and then tap Next

  • 7.

    Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK

  • 8.

    Select your lock screen notification preferences and then tap Done

  • 9.

    Tap Smart Lock

  • 10.

    Enter your PIN and then tap the Arrow

  • 11.

    Tap Voice Match

  • 12.

    Tap the status switch beside Access with Voice Match

  • 13.

    Tap I Agree

  • 14.

    Follow the instructions to set up your voice

  • 15.

    Tap Finish

  • 16.

    Tap Unlock with Voice Match

  • 17.

    Enter your PIN and then tap the Arrow

  • 18.

    Tap OK

  • 19.

    When the phone is locked, say OK Google to unlock it and open Google Assistant
