  • 1. Press and hold the Power/Lock Key to turn the phone on

  • 9. If you would like to copy data from another device, tap Copy your Google Accounts, apps, and data from your other device. Otherwise, tap No thanks

  • 12. Enter the email address associated with your Google account and then tap Next
    If you do not have a Google account, tap Or create a new account to set one up
  • 13. Enter your password and then tap Next
  • 14. Tap Accept
  • 15. Scroll down and tap Next
  • 16. If you would like to add payment information, tap your desired method. Otherwise tap No, thanks
  • 17. Tap Continue
  • 18. Tap the field under Restore from this backup
  • 19. If you would like to restore your phone from a previous backup, select the phone you would like to use. In this example we will select Set up as new device
  • 20. Tap Done
  • 21. Tap Next
  • 22. If you would like to set up an unlock method, tap your desired method. In this example, we will select Set up PIN, patter or password
  • 23. Tap Next
  • 24. Tap your desired method. We will select PIN
  • 25. Select whether a PIN is required to turn the phone on. We will select Require PIN to power on phone
  • 26. Tap Next
  • 27. Enter a PIN and then tap Next
  • 28. Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK
  • 29. Select if you would like notifications displayed on the home screen. We will select Hide All Notifications
  • 30. Tap OK
  • 31. Tap the check boxes beside I Agree
  • 32. Scroll down and tap Done
