  • Wi-Fi hotspots enable other phones to connect to the internet using your phone's wireless data connection
  • 1. From the home screen, tap Settings
  • 2. Tap Networks
  • 3. Tap Tethering & Networks
  • 4. Tap the status switch beside Wi-Fi Hotspot
    Turning a Wi-Fi hotspot on will automatically deactivate your phone's Wi-Fi connection
  • 5. Enter a password for the network. This is the password that must be entered on other devices in order for them to be able to connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot
  • 6. Tap Save
  • 7. To deactivate the Wi-Fi hotspot, swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 8. Swipe the status icons to the left
  • 9. Tap Hotspot
