  • Guest Mode allows other people to use your phone without being able to access all of its apps and data. You must have the pattern screen unlock enabled. If you already have pattern screen unlock enabled, you can skip to step 11
  • 1. From the home screen, tap the Menu Key
  • 2. Tap Lock Screen Settings
  • 3. Tap Select Screen Lock
  • 4. Tap Pattern
  • 5. Tap Next
  • 6. Draw a pattern and then tap Continue
  • 7. Re-draw the patter and then tap Confirm
  • 8. Tap Next
  • 9. Enter a backup PIN for instances when you enter the incorrect pattern 5 times. Tap Next
  • 10. Confirm the PIN and then tap Done
  • 11. From the home screen, tap the Menu Key
  • 12. Tap System Settings
  • 13. Tap General
  • 14. Scroll down and tap Guest Mode
  • 15. Tap OK
  • 16. Tap Set Pattern
  • 17. Draw a pattern for Guest Mode and then tap Continue. This must be different to your own unlock pattern
  • 18. Confirm the pattern and then tap Confirm
  • 19. Tap Use Guest Mode
  • 20. Tap Set Apps
  • 21. A list of apps guests will have access to will be displayed. To add or remove apps, tap the Add icon
  • 22. Tap the check box beside the apps you wish to add or remove
  • 23. Tap OK
  • 24. To access Guest Mode, when the phone locks, press the Power/Lock Key
  • 25. Draw the guest mode pattern
  • 26. Only the apps allowed in Guest Mode will be accessible
  • 27. To exit guest mode, lock the phone
  • 28. Draw your usual unlock pattern
