  • Note: You need to be signed into your Google account. If you have already done this you can skip to step 14
  • 1. From the home screen, tap the Menu Key
  • 2. Tap System Settings
  • 3. Tap General
  • 4. Tap Accounts & Sync
  • 5. Tap Add Account
  • 6. Tap Google
  • 7. Tap Existing

    Note: If you do not already have a Google account, tap New to create one
  • 8. Enter your Google email address and then tap Password
  • 9. Enter your password and then tap Done
  • 10. Tap OK
  • 11. If you would like to add a credit card to your account, tap Set Up Credit Card. Otherwise, tap Not Now
  • 12. Tap the Arrow
  • 13. Tap the Home Key
  • 14. From the home screen, tap Apps
  • 15. Tap Google Settings
  • 16. Tap Android Device Manager
  • 17. Make sure the check box beside Remotely Access This Device is checked
  • 18. If you would like to be able to remotely reset your phone, tap the check box beside Allow Remote Factory Reset
  • 19. Tap Activate
  • 20. Tap the Home Key
  • 21. Tap the Menu Key
  • 22. Tap System Settings
  • 23. Tap General
  • 24. Scroll down and tap Location Access
  • 25. Tap the check box beside GPS Satellites
  • 26. In the web browser of another device, go to www.google.com/android/devicemanager
  • 27. Click the Email field
  • 28. Enter your Google email address. This must be the same as the account you are signed in to on your phone
  • 29. Click the Password field
  • 30. Enter your password and then click Sign In
  • 31. Your phone will be displayed on a map
  • 32. To ring your device, click Ring
  • 33. Click Ring
  • 34. Your phone will ring at full volume for 5 minutes. Press the Power/Lock Key to stop the ringing
