  • Wi-Fi hotspots enable other phones to connect to the internet using your phone's wireless data connection
  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap Tethering & Networks
  • 4. Tap the status switch beside Wi-Fi Hotspot
    Turning a Wi-Fi hotspot on will automatically deactivate your phone's Wi-Fi connection
  • 5. Enter a password for the network and then tap Save. This is the password that must be entered on other devices in order for them to be able to connect to your Wi-Fi hotspot
  • 6. To deactivate the Wi-Fi hotspot, swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 7. Swipe the status icons to the left
  • 8. Tap Hotspot
