    Tap the Settings icon

    Tap More

    Tap Tethering & Portable Hotspot

    Tap Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot

  • 6.

    Tap the Status Switch

    Turning a hotspot on will turn Wi-Fi off

  • 7.

    Tap Configure Wi-Fi Hotspot

  • 8.

    Tap Network Name

  • 9.

    Enter a name for the network and then tap Save. This is the name that other devices will see when searching for a network

  • 10.

    Tap Password

  • 11.

    Enter a password and then tap Save. This is the password that must be entered on other devices looking to connect to the hotspot

  • 12.

    To turn a hotspot off, swipe down from the top of the screen

  • 13.

    Tap Turn Off in the hotspot notification
