Click each step to see the action, click the picture or use the arrow keys

  • 1. Swipe the home screen to the left
  • 2. Tap Settings
  • 3. Scroll down and tap Screen Lock & Passwords
  • 4. Tap Password
  • 5. Tap PIN
  • 6. Enter a PIN and then tap Confirm PIN
  • 7. Re-enter the PIN and then tap Done
  • 8. Tap Enroll
  • 9. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor
  • 10. Lift your finger and place it back on the sensor so it can read a different part of your fingerprint. Keep doing this until your finger has been successfully read
  • 11. Tap OK
  • 12. To add a second fingerprint, tap New Fingerprint and follow the same process
  • 13. To rename the fingerprint, tap Fingerprint ID 1
  • 14. Tap Rename
  • 15. Enter a name for it and then tap OK
  • 16. When the phone locks, place your finger on the fingerprint sensor to unlock it
