  • 1. From the home screen, tap Settings
  • 2. Tap More
  • 3. Tap Tethering & Portable Hotspot
  • 4. Tap Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 5. Tap the status switch
  • 6. Tap Configure Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 7. Enter a name for the network. This is the name that other devices searching for the network will see
  • 8. Scroll down and tap Password
  • 9. Enter a password for the network and then tap Save. This is the password that must be entered on other devices in order to connect to the network
  • 10. To turn a portable Wi-Fi hotspot off, swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 11. Tap Tethering or Hotspot Active
  • 12. Tap Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 13. Tap the status switch
