  • This topic describes how to set up the screen lock and how to unlock your phone
  • 1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key
  • 2. Tap Settings
  • 3. Scroll down and tap Security
  • 4. Tap Set up screen lock
  • 5. Tap the type of screen lock you wish to use. In this example we will select PIN
  • 6. Enter the PIN you wish to use. It must be at least 4 characters. Then tap Continue
  • 7. Re-enter your PIN and then tap OK
  • 8. Tap Lock phone after
  • 9. Tap your desired setting
  • 10. When your phone locks, press the Power/Lock key
  • 11. Drag the time bar down to the bottom of the screen
  • 12. Enter your PIN and tap OK
