  • The Peel Smart Remote app allows you to control your TV and cable box via your phone
  • 1. From the home screen, tap the App Launcher
  • 2. Scroll down and tap Peel Smart Remote
  • 3. Tap Start
  • 4. Enter your postal code and then tap the Search icon
  • 5. Tap your service provider
  • 6. Tap OK
  • 7. Make sure your TV is turned off and then tap Next
  • 8. Tap Next
  • 9. Tap the brand of your TV
  • 10. Tap Next
  • 11. Tap the Power button
  • 12. If your TV turned on, tap Yes
    If your TV did not turn on, tap No and follow the instructions to try a new button
  • 13. If you have a cable or satellite box, tap Yes, I do
    If you don't have a cable or satellite box, tap I don't have Cable/Satellite box
  • 14. Tap Next
  • 15. Tap the brand of your cable or satellite box
  • 16. Tap Next
  • 17. Make sure that your cable or satellite box is turned on and that live television is displayed on your TV. Then tap Done
  • 18. Tap the Channel button
  • 19. If the channel on your TV changed, tap Yes
    If the channel did not change, tap No and follow the instructions to try a new button
  • 20. To use the remote, tap the Remote icon
  • 21. Use the buttons to control your TV
  • 22. To exit the remote, tap the Back Key
