  • 1. Press and hold the Power/Lock Key to turn the phone on

  • 3. Tap your desired language
  • 4. Tap Start
  • 5. If you would like to connect to Wi-Fi, tap your desired network
  • 6. If required, enter the network’s password and then tap Connect
  • 7. Tap Next
  • 8. Tap Enter Your Email
    If you do not have a Google account, tap Or create a new account to set one up
  • 9. Enter the email address associated with your Google account and then tap Next
  • 10. Enter your password and then tap Next
  • 11. Tap Accept
  • 12. Scroll down and tap Next
  • 13. If you would like to add a payment method, tap your desired option. Otherwise tap No, thanks
  • 14. Tap Continue
  • 15. To set up the phone as new, tap Restore from this backup
  • 16. Tap Set up as new device
  • 17. Tap Next
  • 18. If you would like to add a screen unlock method, tap Set Up Screen Lock
  • 19. Tap the type of unlock method you would like to use. In this example, we will select PIN
  • 20. Enter your PIN and then tap Continue
  • 21. Re-enter your PIN and then tap OK
  • 22. Select if you would like notifications displayed on the home screen. We will select Don’t show notifications at all
  • 23. Tap Next
  • 24. If you would like to enter a name for the phone, tap the Name field
  • 25. Enter the name and then tap Return
  • 26. Tap Finish
