  • Wi-Fi Calling allows you to make phone calls via Wi-Fi, even if cellular service isn’t available. You are required to add your address so that emergency services can locate you in the event of an emergency

    Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers

    Tap the Settings icon

  • 3.

    Tap Network & Internet

  • 4.

    Tap Mobile Network

  • 5.

    Tap Advanced

  • 6.

    Scroll down and tap Wi-Fi Calling

  • 7.

    Tap the status switch to turn Wi-Fi Calling on

  • 8.

    Tap Calling Preference

  • 9.

    Select which network type you would like to use if both are available. In this example we will select Call over mobile network

  • 10.

    Tap Emergency Address

  • 11.

    Tap the Phone Number field

  • 12.

    Enter your phone number and then tap Submit

  • 13.

    When the text message containing your verification code arrives, enter the code and then tap Submit

  • 14.

    Tap Update

    If you haven’t already added an emergency address for this phone number, tap Add an Address instead. The following steps will be the same

    Tap the Civic Number field

  • 16.

    Enter your civic number and then tap the Postal Code field

    The civic number is the number before your street address. For example, if your address is 705 St Catherine Street, the civic number is 705

  • 17.

    Enter the postal code for your address and then tap Next

  • 18.

    Select your address from the options provided

  • 19.

    Verify that your address details are correct and add any information that is missing and then tap Save

  • 20.

    Tap Yes to confirm your address and enable Wi-Fi Calling
