  • Once you have added a trusted Bluetooth device, you can choose for your phone to remain unlocked while it is connected to that device. You must have already set up a PIN, password or pattern to be able to use Trusted Devices

    Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers

  • 2.

    Tap the Settings icon

  • 3.

    Scroll down and tap Security

  • 4.

    Tap Smart Lock

  • 5.

    Enter your PIN. If you have not already set up a PIN, you will be asked to do so now

  • 6.

    Tap Understood

  • 7.

    Tap Trusted Device

  • 8.

    Tap Add Trusted Device

  • 9.

    Tap the device you wish to use

    Bluetooth must be turned on and connected to the device you wish to use

  • 10.

    Tap Yes, Add

  • 11.

    Your phone will remain unlocked for as long as it is connected to the device.

  • 12.

    To manually lock the phone, press the Power/Lock Key

  • 13.

    Press the Power/Lock Key again

  • 14.

    Tap and hold on the Lock icon

  • 15.

    To unlock the phone, press the Power/Lock Key

  • 16.

    Swipe the screen upwards

  • 17.

    Enter your PIN and then tap the arrow
