    From the home screen, tap the Messages icon

    To delete an entire message thread, tap and hold on it

    If you would like to delete other threads, tap on them to add them

    Tap the Trash Can icon

    Tap Delete

    To delete a message from within a thread, tap on the thread

    Tap and hold a message you wish to delete

    Tap Delete
