  • A Wi-Fi hotspot allows other devices to connect to the internet using your phone’s mobile data or Wi-Fi network. This may increase your mobile data usage.

    Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers

    Tap the Settings icon

  • 3.

    Tap Network and Internet

  • 4.

    Tap Hotspot & Tethering

  • 5.

    Tap Wi-Fi Hotspot

  • 6.

    Tap the status switch to turn the hotspot on

  • 7.

    Tap Hotspot Name

  • 8.

    Enter a name for the hotspot and then tap OK. This is the name that will be displayed on other devices

    Tap Hotspot Password

  • 10.

    Enter a password and then tap OK. This is the password that must be entered on devices wishing to connect to the hotspot

    To turn a hotspot off, swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers

    Swipe the icons to the left

  • 13.

    Tap the Hotspot icon
