  • You can unlock your phone by saying OK Google. This is a less secure method of protecting your phone and should be used in conjunction with more secure methods. You must have already set up a PIN, password or pattern

    Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers

    Tap the Settings icon

  • 3.

    Scroll down and tap Security

  • 4.

    Tap Smart Lock

  • 5.

    Enter your PIN. If you have not already set up a PIN, you will be asked to do so now

    Tap Understood

  • 7.

    Tap Voice Match

  • 8.

    Tap the status switch beside Access with Voice Match

  • 9.

    Tap Next

  • 10.

    Tap I Agree

  • 11.

    Follow the instructions to set up your voice

  • 12. Tap Next
  • 13.

    Tap Finish

  • 14.

    To unlock your phone and launch Google Assistant, say OK Google
