  • These steps will demonstrate how to add a videotron.ca email account to your phone

  • 1.

    Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers

  • 2.

    Tap the Settings icon

  • 3.

    Tap Accounts

  • 4.

    Tap Add Account

  • 5.

    Tap Personal (IMAP)

  • 6.

    Enter your email address and then tap Next

  • 7.

    Enter your password and then tap Next

  • 8.

    Make sure your incoming server settings are correct and then tap Next

    If the default settings don’t work, you will need to enter them manually. Make sure the server is imap.videotron.ca, the port is 143 and the security type is set to None

  • 9.

    Make sure your outgoing server settings are correct and then tap Next

    If the default settings don’t work, you will need to enter them manually. Make sure the server is relais.videotron.ca, the port is 587 and the security type is set to None

  • 10.

    Select your account preferences, and then tap Next

  • 11.

    Tap Account Name

  • 12.

    Enter a name for the account and then tap Your Name

  • 13.

    Enter your name and then tap Next

  • 14.

    To view your inbox, drag the Home Key upwards

  • 15.

    Tap Gmail

  • 16.

    Tap the Profile icon

  • 17.

    Tap the account you wish to view
