  • Notifications are small messages from apps or the operating system alerting you to new information

    To view notifications, swipe down from the top of the screen

    Tap a notification to go to the app it pertains to

  • 3.

    To delete a notification, swipe it all the way to the left

  • 4.

    To delete all notifications, tap Clear All. Not all notification types can be deleted

  • 5.

    To change the settings for an app’s notifications, tap and hold on the notification

  • 6.

    To turn off notifications for that app, tap Stop Notifications

  • 7.

    To change notification settings for the app, tap the info icon

  • 8.

    Tap Notifications

  • 9.

    Tap the check box beside a setting to disable or enable it

  • 10.

    Some notifications allow you to perform actions directly from the notification. For example, you can respond to a text message by tapping Reply

  • 11.

    Enter the text of your message and then tap the Send icon
