  • Your PC should automatically detect that your phone has been connected. If it doesn’t, you may have to locate it using the File Explorer

  • 1. Attach the USB cable to the phone and to a free USB port on your PC
  • 2. Swipe down from the top of the screen
  • 3.

    Tap the Android System notification

  • 4.

    Tap the notification again

  • 5.

    Tap File Transfer

  • 6. On your PC, select your device
  • 7. Select Open device to view files
  • 8. Open the DCIM folder
  • 9. Open the Camera folder
  • 10. Select the photos and videos you wish to transfer to your PC
  • 11. Drag the files in to the desired location on your PC
  • 12. When the files have finished transferring, click the Show Hidden Icons arrow
  • 13. Click Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media
  • 14. Select the Removable Drive
  • 15. Detach the USB cable from your phone
