Identifying Keys and Navigating the Phone

These steps will describe the functions of the phone’s keys and buttons and the main gestures and actions required to navigate the phone

Tap the Home Key to return to the home screen

Tap and hold the Home Key to launch Google Assistant
- 3.
Tap the Back Key to return to the previous screen
- 4.
Long-swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access your installed apps
- 5.
Short-swipe up from the bottom of the screen to view your recently used apps
- 6.
When in an app, swipe right along the bottom of the screen to switch to the next most recently used app
- 7.
Swipe down from the top of the screen with one finger to open the notifications panel
- 8.
Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers to open the quick settings menu
- 9.
Press the Power/Lock Key to wake or lock the screen
- 10.
Press and hold the Power/Lock Key to turn the phone on or off
- 11.
Double-press the Power/Lock Key to launch the camera
- 12.
Squeeze the bottom half of the phone from both sides to launch Google Assistant
- 13.
You can silence alarms, notifications, timers and incoming calls by squeezing the bottom half of the phone from both sides
- 14.
Use the Volume Keys to adjust the phone’s volume
- 15.
The Fingerprint Sensor is used to confirm your identity when unlocking the phone and in certain apps and settings
