  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap More
  • 4. Tap Tethering & Portable Hotspot
  • 5. Tap the status switch beside Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
    Your phone will disconnect from any Wi-Fi networks it is connected to
  • 6. Tap Set up Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 7. Enter a name for the network and then tap Password. This is the name that other devices will see when connecting to the network
  • 8. Enter a password for the network and then tap Save. This is the password that must be entered on other devices in order to connect to the network
  • 9. To disable a portable Wi-Fi hotspot, swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 10. Tap Hotspot
