  • 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 2. Tap the Settings icon
  • 3. Tap More
  • 4. Tap Tethering & Portable Hotspot
  • 5. Tap the status switch beside Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
    Turning a portable hotspot on will deactivate Wi-Fi
  • 6. Tap Set Up Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 7. Tap the network’s name
  • 8. Enter a name for the hotspot and then tap Password. This is the name that other devices will see when searching for the network
  • 9. Enter a password for the network and then tap Save. This is the password that will need to be entered on other devices
  • 10. To turn a portable hotspot off, swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers
  • 11. Tap Hotspot
