    Press and hold the Power/Lock Key to turn the phone on

    If you don’t have a Google account tap More Options and follow the instructions to set one up

    Enter the email address or phone number associated with your Google account and then tap Next

    Select your preferred unlock method. In this example, we will choose PIN

    Select if you would like a PIN to be required when the device is turned on

    Enter a PIN and then tap Continue

    Re-enter the PIN and then tap OK

    Scroll down and tap Agree

    To set up Google Assistant, tap Next

    Tap Yes, I’m In

    Tap Get Started

    Follow the instructions to set up Google Assistant voice commands

    Select whether you would like to be able to use your voice to unlock your phone and then tap Done

    Enter your PIN and then tap the arrow on the keyboard

    Tap All Set

    To allow the phone to collect location data, tap the check box beside Location Consent

    Tap Next
