Setting and Activating the Phone Lock Code

1. From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen
2. Tap Settings
3. Scroll down and tap Security and Privacy
4. Tap Device Password
5. Tap the status switch beside Device Password
6. Enter a password and then press Return
7. Confirm the password and then tap OK
8. Tap Lock Device After
9. Tap the interval after which you would like the phone to lock after the screen goes to sleep
10. Enter your device password and then tap OK
11. When the phone goes to sleep, press the Power/Lock Key
12. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen
13. Enter your password and then tap OK
