    From the Home screen, scroll to Text Messages and press the Trackpad

    Press the Menu key

  • 3.

    Compose Text Message will be highlighted, press the TrackPad

  • 4.

    Enter the number you would like to send the message to and then press the TrackPad

  • 5.

    To send the message to a number in your address book, enter the first few letters of the contact's name and then scroll to the name in the list displayed and press the TrackPad

  • 6.

    Scroll to the text entry field and enter the text of your message and then press the Menu key

  • 7.

    Send will be highlighted, press the TrackPad
