  • 1. From the Home screen, tap Text Messages
  • 2. Press the Menu key
  • 3. Scroll to Compose Text Message and press the Trackpad
  • 4. Use the keypad to enter the number you wish to send the message to
  • 5. To send a message to a number in your contacts list, enter the first few letters of the contact's name and select the contact from the list
  • 6. Tap inside the message entry field
  • 7. Enter the text of your message and then press the Menu key
  • 8. Scroll to Attach and press the Trackpad
  • 9. Scroll to the type of file you wish to attach and then press the Trackpad. In this example we will select Picture
  • 10. Tap the location of the photo you wish to add. In this example we will select Camera Pictures
  • 11. Tap the photo you wish to add. It will be added to your message
  • 12. Press the Menu key
  • 13. Scroll to Send and press the Trackpad
