  • 1. Attach the Lightning cable to your phone and to a free USB port on your Mac
  • 2. Photos should launch automatically. If it does not, you will need to open it
  • 3. Select the photos you wish to transfer to your Mac
  • 4. Click Import Selected or Import All New Photos
  • 5. When the files have finished transferring over, disconnect the Lightning cable
  • 6. You can choose to sync your photos automatically so you can access them from all of your devices. To do this, from the home screen, tap Settings
  • 7. Scroll down and tap Photos & Camera
  • 8. Tap the status switch beside iCloud Photo Library
