    Attach the Lightning cable to your phone and to a free USB port on your Mac

  • 2.

    On your phone, tap Trust

  • 3.

    If required, enter your passcode

  • 4.

    Photos should launch automatically. If it does not, you will need to open it

  • 5.

    Click your phone’s name

  • 6.

    Select the photos you wish to transfer to your Mac

  • 7.

    Click Import Selected or Import All New Photos

  • 8.

    When the files have finished transferring over, disconnect the Lightning cable

  • 9.

    You can choose to sync your photos automatically so you can access them from all of your devices. To do this, from the home screen, tap Settings

  • 10.

    Scroll down and tap Photos

  • 11.

    Tap the status switch beside iCloud Photos
