  • 1. From the home screen, swipe the screen from left to right
  • 2. Tap FaceTime
  • 3. Tap Enter name, email, or number
  • 4. Enter the name, email address or number of the contact you would like to FaceTime
  • 5. You can choose to make a video or audio FaceTime call. In this example, we will select Video
  • 6. When the contact answers the call, their video will be displayed and your video will be shown in the thumbnail
  • 7. To view the call controls, tap the screen
  • 8. To switch to the rear-facing camera, tap the Switch Camera icon
  • 9. Tap the Switch Camera icon to change back to the front-facing camera
  • 10. Tap the Mute icon to mute the call
  • 11. Tap the Mute icon again to unmute the call
  • 12. Tap the End Call icon to finish the FaceTime call
